Galle works in espresso, a manifestation of his critique on contemporary culture and technology versus the human soul. Through the use of an organic substance and staple comfort food, Expressing Espresso calls for a return to the values of soulful living – pausing for a cultural coffee-break and reawakening our relationship to the natural world.
