New Work
October 11-31, 2007
Artist Reception: Saturday October 13, 1-4 pm
Jerzy Kolacz’s paintings offer us a mirror to ourselves, not a portrait of our faces, cities, or landscapes but rather of the inner world of the psyche and this is what makes these artworks so challenging. Kolacz interprets emotion, ideas and raw spirit and represents them through color, shape, gesture and lie. The prevalent elements of light and texture intermingle and what we remember becomes how we wish to see the world.
