Neil Dankoff
Artist Bio
Neil Dankoff has a longstanding fascination with landscape photography. His recent interest in panoramic images emerged from a desire to capture the sense of awe inspired by the overwhelming beauty of the landscape, a sentiment he felt was impossible to capture within a single photograph. The process of seamlessly stitching together multiple digital photographs developed from his desire to recreate the landscape as it is experienced. The result is uniquely evocative as it presents us with spectacular vistas with all of the drama and wonder with which they remain in our memory. The grandeur of the mesmerizing colours and the sweeping horizons awaken elements of the sublime.
