Jim Reid
Artist Bio
Jim Reid holds a BFA from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick and a BSc from McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario. Reid has been in numerous exhibitions throughout Canada.
Reid’s work embodies spirituality inherent in nature. Combining fragments from nature often with manufactured materials such as acrylic paint, metal, fabric and plastics, Reid depicts a contradiction between the natural world and a technological society, a collision of culture.
